Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Oversee daily painting operations, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality assurance, addressing any issues promptly.
- Develop and implement effective training programs for team members, focusing on safety protocols and efficient painting techniques.
- Coordinate with project managers and clients to understand project specifications and effectively communicate timelines and expectations.
- Manage inventory and procurement of painting supplies, ensuring that all materials meet project requirements and quality standards.
- Evaluate and select appropriate paint products and application techniques based on project needs, weather conditions, and surface materials.
- Foster a positive team environment by encouraging open communication, collaboration, and conflict resolution among team members.
- Monitor team performance and productivity, providing constructive feedback and recognizing outstanding work to motivate staff.
- Prepare detailed project reports, including progress updates, budget tracking, and any challenges encountered during the painting process.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on painting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Certification in OSHA safety standards and painting techniques is highly desirable to ensure a safe working environment.
- Proven track record in managing multiple projects simultaneously, demonstrating strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to communicate fluently in English; additional language skills are a plus for interacting with diverse teams.
- Strong technical skills in various painting methods and materials, including spray painting, brush techniques, and surface preparation.
- Detail-oriented mindset, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead by example and cultivate a cohesive team atmosphere.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods.
- Cultural sensitivity and adaptability to work in diverse environments, respecting individual backgrounds and perspectives.
