Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
>Assist the Head Chef in menu planning and recipe creation.
>Supervise and train kitchen staff.
>Ensure that all food is prepared and cooked to the highest standards.
>Maintain high levels of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.
>Assist in the ordering and receiving of food and supplies.
>Monitor and control food costs and wastage.
>Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop new menu items.
>Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
>Assist in the preparation and presentation of food for special events.
>Support the Head Chef in managing the kitchen operations.
Desired Candidate Profile
>Diploma or degree in Culinary Arts or related field.
>Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role, preferably in flight catering or a high-volume kitchen.
>Strong knowledge of international cuisines and dietary requirements.
>Proficiency in kitchen management software and inventory systems.
