Full job description
We are seeking a talented and motivated BIM MEP Modeler to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting building projects, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. The BIM MEP Modeler will be integral creating, managing, and coordinating BIM models for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage detailed BIM models for MEP systems using Revit and other BIM software.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other team members to integrate MEP systems into the overall project model.
- Perform clash detection and resolve conflicts within the BIM model.
- Generate detailed drawings, schedules, and documentation from the BIM models.
- Ensure models comply with industry standards and specific project requirements.
- Assist in coordinating and managing BIM data for project deliverables.
- Participate in project meetings to provide insights on BIM-related issues and updates.
- Support the implementation and adherence to BIM workflows and standards within the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in BIM Modeling, specially MEP systems.
- Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, and other relevant BIM software; experience with AutoCAD is a plus.
- Solid understanding of MEP systems, construction processes, and BIM standards.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in model creation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
