Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Dear Candidate,
We are hiring for Lead Architect having strong experience in Landscape Architecture.
The Lead Architect will play a pivotal role in designing, planning, and overseeing the implementation of landscape projects from concept to completion. This position requires a creative, detail-oriented, and collaborative individual who can manage both the technical and artistic aspects of landscape architecture while leading a team of designers and working closely with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Design Leadership:
- Lead the development of landscape design concepts for residential, commercial, and public spaces.
- Create innovative and sustainable landscape plans, including site layouts, hardscaping, plant selection, and water features.
Ensure designs meet the aesthetic, functional, and environmental needs of clients.
Project Management:
- Oversee multiple landscape projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and construction teams to ensure designs are accurately executed.
Manage client relationships, including regular communication, presenting design proposals, and addressing client feedback.
Team Leadership and Collaboration:
- Lead and mentor a team of landscape architects, designers, and technicians, providing guidance on design and technical issues.
- Foster a collaborative work environment, encouraging creativity and innovative problem-solving.
Coordinate with other departments (e.g., sales, operations, maintenance) to ensure alignment of project goals and timelines.
Client Engagement:
- Develop strong relationships with clients by understanding their needs, expectations, and vision for each project.
- Present design concepts and provide expert advice on landscape design, materials, and construction techniques.
Desired Candidate Profile
Education:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field.
- Professional licensure as a Landscape Architect (required).
Experience:
8+ years of experience in landscape architecture, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale landscape projects from concept through to completion.
- Expertise in both softscape and hardscape design, including knowledge of plant materials, grading, drainage systems, and sustainable landscaping practices.
Skills:
Proficiency in landscape design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe etc.).
- Strong knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and environmental practices.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines.
