Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating precise technical drawings and layouts for high-end marble installations, including flooring, cladding, countertops, and custom design elements. If you have a passion for architectural detailing and natural stone aesthetics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate 2D and 3D shop drawings for marble installation projects.
- Collaborate with architects, designers, and engineers to interpret plans and specifications.
- Coordinate with project managers and site engineers to ensure design feasibility.
- Prepare cutting lists, dry layouts, and slab mapping for factory and site execution.
- Update and revise drawings as needed to reflect project changes.
- Ensure all drawings comply with project standards and quality expectations.
- Conduct site visits for measurement and verification when required.
Desired Candidate Profile
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
- 2+ years experience as a Draftsman, preferably in the marble/stone industry.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, and preferably in SketchUp, Revit, or 3D visualization software.
- Strong understanding of materials, textures, and stone fabrication techniques.
- Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
